About the role

This will be a hybrid role with both office-based and homeworking. This role will also be required to work out of normal working hours on occasion.

This role will work within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) delivery team under the support and guidance of the Center Parcs Test Manager and Test team.

The role will focus on the testing of the Center Parcs and Aqua Sana websites, ensuring alignment to business requirements and adherence to quality standards.

The role will incorporate a wide range of activities/responsibilities, such as issue identification and resolution, requirements analysis, test design, test automation and the creation/maintenance of test artifacts (such as test cases, bug documentation and test exit reports). Testing will cover a wide range of areas including functionality, performance, user experience, accessibility and security.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required, along with previous experience working within a test and / or data related role.

Hours of work

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however dynamic working is available whereby colleagues may adjust their hours of work with the earliest start time being 7am and the latest end time being 7pm.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and homeworking and will require working out of normal working hours on occasion.

About you

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a mixed discipline team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt

Desirable requirements:

  • Familiarity with web testing methodologies and/or development concepts
  • Basic understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium
  • Exposure to coding/development in a language such as Java
  • Awareness of Agile development methodologies
  • Previous experience working within a testing role
  • Strong bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field
  • ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing
