We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Debtors & Recovery Team within the Finance and Procurement service on a permanent, full-time basis.
Duties will include
- The creation and amendment of all sundry debtor accounts;
- Raising and checking sundry debtor invoices;
- Collating and sending requests to the Post Room for invoices, credit notes, reminder letters and statements to be sent out;
- Emailing invoices, credit notes, reminder letters and statements to customers and saving reports electronically;
- Dealing with incoming emails and post in the teams shared email inbox;
- Dealing with requests for copy invoices, copy credit notes and statements;
- Dealing with some system housekeeping duties such as changing recovery routes and setting up instalment agreements;
- Reviewing outstanding accounts and investigate any problems /issues;
- Deal with queries from debtors and service officers;
- Communicate with debtors and colleagues by letter, email and telephone regarding payment of outstanding debt;
- Support various officers within the Central Sundry Debtors Recovery team.
About you
- Up to 1 year of demonstrable experience of understanding and/or performing a financial role;
- With a high level of interpersonal skills;
- With an ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise competing and conflicting workloads;
- With an ability to carry out tasks with accuracy and attention to detail;
- Who has intermediate level skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office software;
The ability to communicate in Welsh and English is essential.
