This is a great opportunity for the right individual to join a welcoming, collaborative company in a hands-on role. In this role, you would collaborate closely with the financial planner and clients of our branches, working through business from start to finish. The individual will assist the Financial Planner and Paraplanner with their daily tasks.

    Principle duties

    • Support Financial Planner with day-to-day activities.
    • Data input of fact-finding information into Intelliflo.
    • Coordinate and manage the process of requesting and acquiring policy information.
    • Prepare letters, emails, presentations, agendas, minutes, and other marketing materials and implement marketing activities.
    • Ensure that service requests, queries and resolutions are completed in a timely manner.
    • Identify process improvements and support delivery of the Financial Planning process.
    • Co-ordinate with Product Providers and the Products team in identifying products that will help improve the Financial Planning service.
    • Collect all documents and monitor the progress of the client journey.
    • Attend client meetings and actively engage in the follow up and development of conversations to maintain the relationship.
    • Focal point of contact internally and externally for any prospect enquiries.
    • Collate details from direct enquiries from our branches and determine what type of meeting or introduction will help secure a prospect and aid the sales process.
    • Liaise with the Relationship Management Team and the Business Development Team to understand and arrange introductions to new and existing branches where there is a need for the Financial Planning service.
    • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the Financial Planning team.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Understand and successfully communicate the Raymond James ethos to client.

    Attributes

    • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong organisational skills and eye for detail.
    • A working knowledge of Intelligent Office system by Intelliflo is preferred but not essential.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and achieve objectives.
    • A working knowledge of Financial Planning working practices, from onboarding clients to assisting with ongoing annual review processes.
    • A medium knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel & Word.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks.
    • Experience of troubleshooting and resolving problems.
    • Ability to work with a range of different styles of people and adapt to fit the style of person that you are dealing with (i.e., individual, IFA).
