We are looking for two talented, committed Environmental Health Officers to work as part of our fantastic Public Protection team. You will help to deliver food safety, food standards, health & safety, infectious disease control, as well as contribute to the Council’s wider public health remit.

You will be qualified to Diploma or Degree level in Environmental Health, however we also invite applications from those students graduating in 2023 (please note any offer of employment would be subject to obtaining your degree).

The role is allocated a Grade 8 salary for qualified and competent officers with a career progression route available for graduates, starting at Grade 7. Graduates will be fully supported to complete their food competencies within 12 months of starting work.
