HBS are currently recruiting for current and upcoming works. Works are carried out at night using lane closures implemented by the HBS Traffic Management Division.
About the role
Since their establishment in 2008, HBS has developed as a leading company in road restraint systems, traffic management, temporary safety barriers, civil engineering and much more.
Due to continued success, we are now looking for the right candidate to come and join us as an Engineer to assist with the management and delivery of a range of projects. We need someone to join their team who wants a long-term career with opportunity for progression within a successful company. You will become part of a team where everyone works closely together to allow us to deliver a first-rate service to our valued clients.
There will be some office-based duties which include
- Assisting commercial team with tenders
- valuations and cost control generally.
- Planning / Scheduling works – labour, plant and materials.
There will be site-based duties which include
- Supervision of works on site
- Carry out safety briefings
- Setting out
- Quality Control
- Maintaining site records
What good looks like
- Engineering based qualification
- Self-starter
- Strong IT skills in particular MS Excel
- Willingness to buy in to our customer focus-based approach.
- Desire to progress within a dynamic environment.
