Why this role matters
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in treasury management and financial operations. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, this role will involve assisting in managing daily treasury activities, ensuring efficient and accurate financial planning.
How you'll make an impact
- Assist in the management of daily cash flow and liquidity needs under supervision of the Treasury Manager. Including;
- Prior day reconciliation
- Forecast daily cash position
- Proposing actions to ensure adequate and timely liquidity for operational needs across the Group
- Execute Treasury payments in an accurate and timely manner; using existing manual processes and adapting to upcoming automation
- Assist in mitigating financial risks, such as foreign exchange exposure, by trading and recording FX hedges
- Assist in managing the company's debt and investment facilities, ensuring policy compliance and optimising net interest cost
- Maintain and update standing data in the Treasury Management System, including legal entities and bank accounts. Monitor data feeds and assist with any issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with our key stakeholders, including:
- FX and Lending Banks
- Cash Management Banks
- Third party service providers
- Internal Global teams
What you’ll bring to the team
Essential
- Experience in a finance or treasury related role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Desirable
- Understanding of foreign exchange and cash management principles
- Knowledge of treasury management systems and practices
