Our accelerated development programme is designed for people who would like to train as engineers, in a professional field that offers tremendous career opportunities.
Over a circa 18-week period, we will provide you with intensive, structured training and work experience that will prepare you for your first fire engineering role.
From this point you will be mentored to enhance your skill as you become a specialist in Chubb's pace setting technologies, solutions, and methods. Expect your career and earnings to develop at pace, in an environment that offers variety, challenge and job satisfaction.

Job description
Your initial training
You will cover a lot of ground over the course of your programme.
The initial phase will consist of week-long modules alternating between residential classroom training, manufacturer systems certification and shadowing colleagues in the field, during which we will continuously assess your performance. At the end of your training, you will gain formal certification before taking up your first field role.
What comes next?
Complete the programme and you will join one of our field installation and maintenance teams. Here your training will continue, with close support from our early careers team.
Your pay will grow steadily with your developing skills, which we'll assess regularly. There will also be the opportunity to enhance your system knowledge and earning potential related to capability.
On top of your basic salary, there is potential for additional earning potential, on-call allowances, and travel expenses. Workwise, your projects will grow with your experience. There is a real mix, from smaller office installations to massive, integrated industrial protection systems.
Qualifications
Above all, we are looking for people who are committed to their professional lives, inspired by technology, and focused on doing their best by customers.
You could be new to engineering, or you could be working in fields such as electrical, telecoms or HM Forces and looking for a change. Either way we are open to candidates with the aspiration and drive to join this industry to build an exciting career.
