    Citi is looking for summer analysts to join the EMEA Financing & Securitisation group in London. Financing & Securitisation at Citi provides world-class solutions that are as sophisticated and diverse as the needs of the corporates, institutions and governments we serve in 160 countries and territories. F&S is part of Global Spread Products, which provides funding and capital to our clients through liquidity and innovative solutions across the credit, municipal and securitized markets. The group’s activities include origination, structuring, underwriting, distributing and lending across products including real estate, corporate, infrastructure/project bonds, asset backed and mortgage-backed securities, collateralized loan obligations, and derivative instruments.

    Our program is a highly competitive and selective program that gives you the opportunity to actively participate in structuring financing for our institutional client base. As a summer analyst, you will receive an in-depth education to learn the fundamentals of the analyst role and an introduction to Citi's culture.

    EMEA F&S provides a range of opportunities

    • CLO Primary
    • Commercial Real Estate Finance
    • Credit Financing
    • Global Infrastructure Finance
    • International Residential Finance and Securitisation
    • Syndicate

    Your time here will look something like this

    • Analyse clients’ funding and capital needs as well as potential solutions
    • Develop a deep understanding of the bank and institutional investor universe and the trends that impact our market
    • Originate, structure and execute transactions for both strategic needs and normal course refinancing across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions
    • Learn how our many products can be used in concert to provide a fulsome solution to the client
    • Model cashflows and expected loss and recovery values of different asset pools
    • Discuss with rating agencies in externally rated transactions
    • Work with lawyers throughout the documentation process
    • Liaise with partners across the bank to deliver best results to clients

    We want to hear from you if

    • You are in your penultimate/final year of university
    • Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate/graduate level in any degree discipline
    • You have an interest in business and financial markets in general
    • You have strong analytical and modelling capabilities
    • You are a team player and enjoy working in a dynamic and multicultural environment
