    The Citi Technology Spring Insight Week which has been designed to give you maximum exposure to our Technology, our people and company culture to help you decide if Citi is the right fit for you. Our most successful Spring interns will be considered for the 2023 Summer Analyst program.

    Your time here will look something like this

    You will make the most of your week with various sessions that are designed to get you involved, engaged, and exposed to passionate Citi colleagues. You will also learn practical skills that will help you personally, professionally, and hopefully academically.
    In the past we have hosted sessions such as:

    • Live banking simulations
    • Taster sessions in Operations
    • Professional Skill building sessions
    • Collaborative group projects 
    • Networking
    • Q&A’s with Citi colleagues who were in your shoes

    We know that navigating potential career opportunities can be daunting, especially in technology, and Citi want to help you jumpstart your career by bringing you into one of the largest global investment banks.

    During the Spring Insights Programme you will be given a phenomenal opportunity to experience first-hand Citi's culture, business divisions, employees and networks across our businesses. You will be exposed to up and coming technologies, advancements in the world of banking, and much more.

    Our ICG Technologists support and enable the success of our trading businesses and by utilizing a broad range of technologies; our team is at the forefront of innovation. We seek to drive our systems and processes toward scalable, low-latency, high-frequency enterprise systems to support Citi and our aggressive growth strategy. Our Technology program is divided into two streams; Software Development and Production Support and through the Spring Insight week you will get to experiences both areas.

    Our Software Development team have a passion for using Technology to make our business faster, more efficient and more profitable and design and implement innovative technical solutions to the problems faced by our traders. In many ways, they are the architects of what’s next. Our Production Support team is no less important. It plays an integral part in running and maintaining the production environment via providing business facing support for trading applications to trading, middle office and operations so that they can confidently conduct business and service clients.

    We want to hear from you if

    We are interested in hearing from people that come from all backgrounds and interests to generate new ideas to help encourage change and growth.

    You should be:

    • Studying a STEM related degree or have a keen interest in Technology
    • Planning to participate in a placement or summer programme for your penultimate year of University
    • You are aiming to achieve a minimum of 2:1 when you graduate
    • You are graduating in 2025
