The Worshipful Company of Insurers (WCI) and Bayes Business School have established a scholarship scheme for Home students taking the MSc in Insurance and Risk Management at Bayes Business School. Under the scheme, two students will have their tuition fees paid in full.

Scholars are expected to be drawn from areas of the UK considered to be relatively lacking in opportunity and they must also be able to demonstrate financial need.

Value: Two scholarships, covering full tuition fees (£15,800 each)

Criteria

  • Eligible courses: MSc Insurance and Risk Management (September start only. Applicants to the part-time course may be considered if they are not working in the Insurance industry at the time of application)
  • Geographical requirements: Permanent residents of the UK (must meet criteria for Homestudent fee status)
  • Academic requirements: Must be able to demonstrate academic excellence
  • Financial need: Must be able to demonstrate financial need

Interested applicants should apply for MSc Insurance and Risk Management in the first instance. If made an offer, eligible applicants can submit their scholarship application via the WCI website. The WCI Trustees will then reivew the scholarship application and may request further information (including details of your financial background). Decisions are normally made on a rolling basis, and an early application is therefore strongly encouraged.

Please note that successful scholars are expected to cover their remaining expenses throughout the degree, such as living costs.
