    CK International is seeking to appoint a graduate for the Invest NI Graduate to Export Programme.

    Reporting to the International Sales Manager, this is a key role in developing contract sales business opportunities through the completion of a market research programme.

    The export market for this project will be Italy and the successful candidate will be living & working in the export market for 12 months, following an initial 6 months in Northern Ireland.

    The Graduate to Export training programme is funded by Invest NI and provided by University of Ulster along with the Institute of Export and International Trade. The Programme provides a pathway to secure a Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing.

    The successful applicant must be in place before the end of June 2022

    Main duties

    • Complete a market research project identifying waste recycling potential customers using sales information, desk top research, online platforms, invest NI services, social media etc
    • Identify specific plant builders
    • Identify decision makers for waste compaction equipment
    • Visit potential customers in market to establish what recycling equipment they currently use and what we would need to do as a manufacturer to reach their expectations
    • Actively participate in a Graduate to Export Training programme
    • Provide any other feedback on the market/competition as discovered through research
    • Provide wider support to the International Sales team with any ongoing customer projects
    • Travel throughout Italy to support the overall project

    The successful graduate must have

    • A Pass degree (this can be any discipline)
    • Graduated in the last five years
    • A willingness to relocate outside of Northern Ireland (Italian language skills are desirable, but not essential)
    • Strong customer service skills and experience
    • Excellent communication and IT skills
    • Technically minded desirable, but not essential
