    Product Support Assistant Student Placement

    The successful candidate will be required to work alongside our experienced Technical Product Managers within the Technical Department.

    Main Duties

    • Provide high level support and detailed monitoring of Pre Series machines and technical improvements - this could require regular travel throughout the UK and IE.
    • Assist with detailed and in depth analysis of Tractor technical issues reported from our dealer network, including the creation and follow up of Technical Support requests to the CLAAS factories.
    • Continue to develop a detailed program of best practice for application of fluid sampling across the CLAAS Product range.
    • Proactive involvement with CLAAS TELEMATICS and CLAAS Remote Service mobile machine management with a focus on preventative measures to increase customer machine availability.
    • Co-ordination of CLAAS group field engineers within the UK.

    Your Profile

    Essential Skills and Knowledge

    • A valid, current UK driving licence
    • Working towards a related degree in Engineering
    • Experienced in a range of agricultural machinery operations
    • Excellent communicator with good organisational skills
    • Good IT and high quality literacy skills
    • Applicants must be in their second year of study in a relevant subject at a UK University.

    Your benefits

    • Based at our Head Office in Saxham, Bury St Edmunds. You will be required to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, according to the business requirements.
    • This placement will be for a 13-15 month period, commencing July 2023.
