    At CLAAS UK at Saxham we provide Sales, Service, Parts, IT, Marketing and Accounts support for our dealer network across the UK and Ireland. CLAAS UK is also the sole wholesale distributor for all CLAAS machinery in the UK and Ireland.

    Academy Training Support Student Placement

    Are you studying Agriculture, Agriculture Mechanisation or an Engineering discipline at a UK University and looking to gain some real world industry experience? Then we're looking for you!

    You could work within our CLAAS Academy and alongside our team of training instructors who provide training for our dealer network and customers.

    Main Duties

    • Take an active team role in development of future product technical and vehicle diagnostic courses
    • Work with Academy team to develop and deliver digital learning content
    • Support sales and technical trainers with on-site and in-field training delivery around the UK and Ireland
    • Design, develop and manufacture training assemblies and aids which will encompass elements of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic engineering design
    • Project manage our in house technician assessment program
    • Take full ownership of management of Academy machinery fleet

    Your Profile

    Essential Skills and Knowledge

    • A practical aptitude with a willingness to learn
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Experienced in a range of agricultural machinery operations

    Your Benefits

    • Based at our Head Office in Saxham, Bury St Edmunds. You will be required to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, according to the business requirements.
    • This placement is for a 12-15 month period, commencing July 2023.
