    The Role

    As a fast-growing company, CloserStill relies more on leveraging data in its events and is determined to enhance its analytics capabilities in the future.

    Working closely with Marketing Teams of designated portfolios and other key business functions, the Data Analyst will focus mainly on supporting audience promotion across shows.

    Responsibilities

    • Data manipulation and large cross-referencing datasets
    • Segmenting data based on predefined criteria
    • Carrying out database maintenance and admin
    • Supporting data-building requests
    • Supporting data cleaning programmes
    • Supporting reporting and analytics for audience data
    • Provide admin support to users of some of our systems
    • Adhering to data policies and procedures
    • Advising and consulting with show teams on the best use of audience data
    • Identification and scoping of process improvements
    • Supporting Marketing and Sales onsite at our events, which may include overseas travel.

    Promoting good data best practices and being a role model for all data citizens across the business, this role would ideally suit someone who has strong data management skills and a passion for working with data. Due to the cross-team nature of this role, being a good communicator is key.

    Required Skills

    • Highly computer literate
    • Good numerical skills
    • Quick assimilation of information with a motivation to learn
    • Good pattern recognition
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Understanding of data privacy regulations, e.g. GDPR
    • Solid time management
    • Works well on projects as part of a team and is able to remain focused when working independently
    • Ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.

    Beneficial Skills

    • Experience of using Power BI or similar data analytics software
    • Python or SQL experience
