    At CMS Distribution, we are looking for ambitious, driven individuals to join our Graduate Programme, where you will be fast tracked in our Sales team. Our Programme is designed to pave your career path as you experience a 3 month rotational period before moving into a position within one of our sales teams.

    Our successful rotational scheme puts your personal and professional development at the centre, as you build critical knowledge and gain experience with the support of our dedicated mentors.

    Role responsibilities

    Our scheme will give you the tools and knowledge to succeed within the sales team, you will gain exposure within key areas of our business- providing you with an excellent foundation of business knowledge around our Vendors, Technologies and Customers. This will give you the opportunity to absorb and embed our CMS culture and values in order to become successful within one of the below areas:

    • Product Sales
    • Account Management
    • Vendor Management

    Additional responsibilities

    • Take responsibility to ensure all price lists are uploaded to our system in a timely manner and our internal price list accordingly.
    • Pass the vendor training accreditations to enhance your knowledge of the products and start to articulate some of the features and benefits of the solution on calls with our reseller partners.
    • Create some quotes when required and send them to our customer, and on occasions processing some orders in our system.
    • To chase resellers on the deals yourself to aid with closing orders both on the phone, on Microsoft Teams and by email.
    • Ensure that CRM is up to date for all communications in relation to vendor opportunities
    • Assist with the creation and delivery of the Business Plan. This will include regular review meetings and the setting of SMART objectives.
    • Be fully aware of the Whitespace customers and aid the PSM to target these customers to do more business, occasionally attending calls to learn the process the PSM goes through

    • Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues and vendors
    • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities & the ability to work well under pressure
    • A keen interest in technology and its application in a business environment
    • Good problem-solving skills, with experience in proposing different options and solutions for resolving issues
    • Can demonstrate their ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations. Conscientious and committed, combined with flexibility in attitude and approach.
