Qualifications & Experience

This is a rare opportunity to become involved in private equity at a graduate level.  As a new Investment Analyst you will learn about how private equity works, as well as secondaries as a specific sector.  You will work across our investments which are wide ranging in sector and geography, and will be provided with the training and development to enable you to:

  • Build financial models
  • Develop your analytical skills

  • Support the structuring and execution of investments

You will also become skilled in conducting desktop research and helping to prepare materials for Investment Committee meetings.

Our standards are exceptionally high and Investment Analysts are expected to demonstrate a concern for detail, accountability for the quality of outputs, and proactivity.  For our part, we will provide training and a huge amount of support and feedback.  Your communication skills, ability to work well under pressure and accountability will grow immensely during your time as an Investment Analyst.

Competencies

The Investment Analyst role is a two and a half year programme.  At the end of the programme you might:

  • Be offered an Associate role based on exceptional performance and demonstrable future potential
  • Continue your education (for example, an MBA or further studies in Finance)
  • Decide that this role is not for you and move on to pursue your own interests

Coller Capital excels at developing its people; almost all our Partners were grown from within the firm.  We provide you with outstanding technical training and the tools necessary to grow and advance your career both within and outside the company.
