Join our Commercial Graduate Programme as a Proposals Specialist, and you’ll be working with stakeholders across Colt on a daily basis to bring together information required to deliver the best proposals for our customers. Over the course of 2 years, you’ll quickly learn about the structure of our business, our key products, markets, strategies, and challenges we face and how we address these, whilst building your own professional and communications skills.
Join us on a permanent contract from day one, and at the end of the two-year programme, you’ll move straight into a role within our Commercial function.
What you’ll be doing:
Working in our Bid Management team, you’ll be responsible for supporting our Senior Bid Managers with customer proposal developments, whilst learning to develop the skills you need to lead proposals independently. You’ll be working with teams throughout our business to deliver these proposals, and will quickly expand your knowledge of how we operate.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Reviewing, maintaining and updating standard bid content and online resources
- Developing internal Colt network, process and product understanding
- Acting as a Quality Control consultant on Sales-led proposals
- Ad hoc reporting and bid support tasks
- Supporting Bid funnel monitoring and team reporting
- Supporting Sales teams responding to customer information requests and questionnaires
Who are we looking for?
You must have a Bachelors university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. You should also be naturally inquisitive, keen to learn, adapt and continuously develop your own skills through feedback and new experiences.
To be eligible for this role, you must either be a citizen of the United Kingdom or hold a visa that grants you the permanent and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
