Job Purpose Statement
The Business Partnering team within LFO support a variety of business heads with all finance related activities. This includes MI production, expense and headcount management, commentary, budgeting and forecasting, product analysis, ad-hoc analysis and business plans.
This role, along with the Finance Business Partner in to which the role reports, will primarily be responsible for the Alternatives businesses, focusing on profitability modeling, planning & forecasting and production of regular reporting for business partners.
Role Responsibilities
How you'll spend your time....
- Develop and run forecasting/planning models.
- Create routine reporting for the business using multiple data sources & assist in developing commentary around business results.
- Produce ad hoc financial analyses on a timely, accurate and consistent basis as required.
- Maintain & enhance where possible profitability models.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other members of the finance team to ensure qualitative, well thought out reporting from finance in the eyes of the wider business
- Helps increase finance's profile throughout the organisation by aiding in the production of value added management information.
Key Capabilities
To be successful in this role you will have....
- Demonstrates the ability to complete financial modeling tasks and financial analysis using spreadsheets and/or other tools.
- Previous experience in financial or analytical role within financial services industry.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of finance, accounting and analytical skills.
- Experience applying accounting and financial concepts to interpret and solve business problems.
- Able to create outputs that support decisions.
