Support senior members of the Loan Portfolio Management team in managing Lending’s International corporate loan book.
This comprises primarily steering of new transactions based on profitability and concentration analysis, portfolio capital management, portfolio risk management, identification and implementation of selected measures (insurance, CDS, secondary sales, securitisations). This also requires various portfolio and transaction analyses when required.
Key activities
- Profitability analysis of corporate loan transactions
- Credit reviews of corporate clients
- Analysis of portfolio concentrations
- Review of transactions’ capital consumption and optimization measures
- Analysis on sectors, regional markets and market trends to inform corporate loan portfolio strategy
- On-going monitoring of corporate credit profile to identify potential risks
- Coordination with credit officers, relationship managers, product teams and Finance and Compliance departments
Profile
- Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree or recently graduated within the last 12 months; Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, Physics or Maths background is preferred
- Expected to or have achieved a minimum 2.1 UK bachelors degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum of ABB (A Levels) or 128 UCAS points equivalent
- Previous relevant internships are desirable
- Right to work in the UK (Commerzbank sponsors visas for graduates on the programme)
