    We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical graduate to join our Investment Office trading team. The successful candidate will work closely with our senior traders to assist with market analysis, trade execution, and risk management.

    Commerzbank Investment Office team is responsible for the Commerzbank Treasury investment books and structured financing solutions for the bank and its clients. This will give the candidate a unique opportunity to become proficient in Fixed Income trading including Fixed Income securities, derivatives and financing structures, working alongside a diverse and multicultural environment with team members across international locations (London, Frankfurt, New York, and Singapore).

    Key activities

    • Perform market analysis and research to identify trading opportunities
    • Assist senior traders in executing trades and managing positions
    • Monitor market movements and track trade performance
    • Collaborate with other members of the trading team to identify and implement best practices
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of trading systems and tools
    • Participate in training and development programs to increase knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies

    Start: ASAP

    Duration: up to 12 months with the view of transferring to a graduate position.

    Your profile

    • Graduated in the last 12 months in Finance, Economics, or Maths
    • Achieved a minimum 2.1 UK bachelors degree (or equivalent)
    • Minimum 320 UCAS points (or equivalent)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis software
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
    • Interest in financial markets and trading

    Our internships are advertised on an ad-hoc basis. Applications are accepted in London throughout the year, as and when the business needs them. We usually start recruiting for each internship approximately 3 months before the candidate will be due to start, so we advise you to use those guidelines when applying.
