Business Management Industrial Placement UK 2023

Our 13-month business management industrial placement programme will be based at the heart of our business within our Service Management division. This structured development programme will provide you with ‘hands on’ experience in a fast-paced environment providing you the opportunity to learn how IT services are delivered to our customers and a chance to work alongside industry experts.

You will also

• Managing the service, we deliver ensuring the operation runs efficiently for our customers
• Preparing and conducting presentations for internal and external audiences
• Organising customer meetings, handing customer enquiries, and preparing customer reports
• Have Exposure to a global corporate environment with an opportunity to work with colleagues across the world (e.g. Spain, France, Germany, South Africa)

What should you bring with you?

As well as a strong interest in IT and business management you should be able to demonstrate the following-

• We’re seeking individuals who are studying at undergraduate level across all degree disciplines and are in the penultimate year of their degree.
• Enjoy team collaboration and can build good working relationships at all levels
• Can adapt to situations and step out of their comfort zone to solve problems and make decisions
• Are organised with the ability to learn and analyse information quickly
• Bring theoretical learnings from their studies and put them into practice with Computacenter’s Service Management team
• Are driven and committed to provide outstanding levels of service
• Have good financial and commercial acumen

Whilst we are working with our customers and colleagues remotely at this time, we do hope to return to some normality, as this is a national role, you must be prepared to commute to our core Computacenter hubs across the UK as well as work onsite with our customers when appropriate.
