A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the Finance Support Team within our Loans Services business. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of one day a week at our Skipton office.
A role you will love
Working with the Finance Support Team Manager this team support essential change, MI and reporting for Operational Finance holding the responsibility for the delivery of change programmes, whilst providing business critical metrics and dashboard reporting.
The Finance Business Analyst role is responsible for producing and maintaining the day-to-day delivery of departmental MI providing detailed analysis for KPI’s that highlight the performance of the team and how this applies to trend analysis for future planning.
Leading the timely and accurate production of monthly client SLA dashboards interacting with all key stakeholders as appropriate. Conducting research and data analysis on the Finance MI and Finance systems to identify and deliver new solutions or evolve existing solutions.
Working with the operational stakeholder teams and Computershare Technical Services teams in supporting technical queries and project related activity related to the role. As well as taking the lead in supporting any technical queries, issues and enhancement or development requests from the wider Finance function.
The role holder will be instrumental in the discovery and delivery of improved Finance operational team performance by actively seeking solutions through continuous improvement activities and contributing to the transformation and continuous improvement of our internal automation capabilities through diligent analysis and requirements gathering with key business stakeholders.
Working within a team of six, including the Finance Support Manager this role is a hybrid arrangement, working at least one day per week in our Skipton office.
Key accountabilities
- Producing and maintaining (daily, weekly, monthly) departmental MI, showing detailed analysis for KPI’s and trends to demonstrate the performance of the team.
- Leading the timely and accurate production of monthly client dashboards to support the client governance.
- Providing accurate performance updates to the managers in respect of SLA maintenance productivity quality and performance and how this applies to trend analysis for future planning.
- To be instrumental in the delivery and ongoing support for any automation projects delivery for the Finance Function and actively seeking to improve team performance through continuous improvement activities.

We are looking for an individual with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and who can work closely with the finance business and technology teams to effectively deliver change.
Working through process improvements, the successful candidate will be expected to hold all the skills necessary to work in a changeable environment which will entail one off requests and ongoing projects. We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Business change analysis experience or experience in working with Analysis
- Demonstratable experience of strong problem solving, and solutions driven work ethic.
- A technical approach and critical thinking skills
Essentially, you’ll have excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex queries, this will require a positive can-do approach with the willingness to learn on the job. You’ll also have great organisational skills, allowing forward planning and preparing work so that it is efficient and effective.
