What you will be doing
Connexin is on a mission to connect the real world with the digital world to improve the way we live. As a relatively small company straddling 3 highly competitive sectors – broadband, IoT and education and without a large advertising budget, the aim of this role is to drive brand fame and help us stand out in the market. Your work will capture the essence of the Connexin brand through captivating campaign activations, engaging written, visual and video content, clever messaging, and an understanding of our unique tone of voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the creation and maintenance of an ongoing content calendar, spotlight brand and product stories to relevant audience.
- Develop and create creative social campaigns, from ideation to delivery, to grow our organic social following on all relevant social media channels.
- Support business unit specific campaign periods through social media content creation, and basic monitoring of social campaign effectiveness.
- Create and publish social media content across all relevant social media channels.
- Together with Head of Content and our external agency partners, build strong relationships with our sponsorship partners, serving as a point of contact, building trust and rapport.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify how to maximise our current sponsorship assets across our B2B and B2C businesses.
- Deliver compelling and innovative sponsorship activity that supports our business and maximises our return on investment.
- Regularly visit and attend events at sponsored venues to gain true understanding of our brand presence there and constantly improve customer experience.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure sponsor recognition and visibility through various channels, such as print, digital, social media, and on-site branding.
- Stay ahead with emerging trends, digital tools, and platform innovations.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts, with a keen interest in social media trends and sponsorship management.
- Introductory knowledge of social media frameworks and trends.
- Basic data analysis skills and a willingness to learn about social media insights and metrics.
- Interest in market trends and consumer behaviour in the fibre industry.
- Good communication skills for effective team collaboration and content creation.

- Passion for growing a brand through Social Media, and aligning the business to a single tone-of-voice.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including social media content creation and campaign monitoring.
- Highly motivated with a proactive attitude, eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced marketing team.
- Ability to work collaboratively, particularly in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and supporting marketing initiatives.
- A goal-oriented approach, aiming to support revenue growth and business objectives through effective marketing and social media engagement.
