Continental Engineering Services are offering a 12 month Internship based at their UK location with the opportunity to gain hands on experience in a fast growing R&D facility. The right person will be able to contribute positively towards improving the business systems, gain real day to day responsibilities. The intern will be working directly for our Financial Controller in a small and friendly team.
- Project costing for new business;
- Purchase Ledger & Sales ledger
- Management information reports including cost centre reporting and analysis;
- Financial reporting including P&L & Balance Sheet;
- Month End closing accounting activities;
- Budgets and Forecasts;
- Liaison with headquarters in Germany and
- Ad hoc exercises and projects
About you
- Student or recent graduate within the fields of Business & Management or comparable field of studies with a focus on finance and controlling;
- Proven experience in finance and controlling is advantageous;
- Excellent knowledge of office tools (Word and Excel);
- Good English skills (written and spoken) and
- High capacity for communication and teamwork, flexibility, open-mindedness, accuracy and proactive working skills.
