    New for 2024 we’re excited to offer the opportunity for graduates going into their final year to join us on our Summer Internship programme!

    Running from the beginning of June to the end of August each opportunity will allow individuals to get stuck into some great projects, gain valuable on the job experience all while working with friendly experts happy to share their knowledge!

    About the role

    During the internship they’ll be lots of mini projects that need supporting, organising and governing. In addition, the data analysis type work that Service Management completes is increasing and the internship will also be getting involved in that.

    Supporting in all aspects of daily administration (BAU) with the service management function you’re placed with will be key parts of the opportunity. You’ll also get to engage with key stakeholders around this BAU work to ensure it is completed timely with the correct level of detail required to make informed decisions. The work you’ll do will have an impact on risk reduction, cost savings, process improvement, and mini project management, etc so great experience for the future.

    We have SME’s in the largest Service Management functions available, within the Service Management team that you’ll be able to learn and shadow from. You’ll also be buddied up with an SME in the service management area you’ll be working in, to support with development, questions and advice as well as daily contact with your line manager.

    About you

    For this internship you must be due to go into your final year of studies in September 2024, and will ideally have a IT or Computing degree and/or relevant work experience.

    You'll be passionate about developing and have a positive attitude towards gaining new knowledge, skills and behaviours. You'll need to be open and proactive in learning as well as engaging in activities that require you to work as part of a team and independently.

    Experience of projects and an ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, manage multiple competing priorities, analyse data and use it to inform decisions will be important. You’ll be self-aware, with the confidence to work independently and the passion to continuously improve.
