    To shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish, we are looking for a Assistant Commercial Manager to join our team. You will have the opportunity to support our experts on some of the UK’s most innovative infrastructure programme.

    Your key responsibilities will be

    • Creatively organise commercial aspects of various projects, including identification and evaluation of change, risks, and opportunities
    • Collation and preparation of regular cost reporting and forecast updates and monitoring in conjunction with the Project Manager and UK Project Controls/ Finance Team
    • Support the procurement process including preparation of sub-consultancy agreements Encourage
    • Innovative thinking around continuous improvement.

    On top of that you will have

    • A degree in quantity surveying (Ideally be working towards RICS qualification)
    • Demonstrate previous use of CEMAR or similar contract management tools, and awareness of good data management practices
    • Be conversant with the NEC forms of contract and the various options for contract management as well as change control management.
    • Demonstrable experience of working within the Commericial Division of a Main Contractor or Design Consultancy
    • Have experience of commercial risk assessment, review, and mitigation costs
    • The ability to work across diverse design, project management, control, and commercial teams
    • Good project controls skills with commercial understanding
    • To assist in the planning and coordination of projects ensuring timelines and budgets are met
    • To be an effective communicator with stakeholders including clients, subconsultants and project teams
