CDP is looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Disclosure Programme Team and support the growth of our Corporate and Cities, States and Regions (CStaR) programmes. This role will be primarily internal and support the Disclosure Engagement team to ensure the foundations for disclosure success and growth are met, through coordination, project management and process improvements.The post holder will play an important role delivering engagement and outreach activities that drive disclosure by states, regions, cities and companies globally.

About the Disclosure Programme team

The Disclosure Engagement team is responsible for engaging companies, cities, states an regions around the disclosure requirements of their strategies to mitigate climate change, improve water security and tackle deforestation. The Programme team is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end disclosure cycle ensuring conditions for disclosure success and growth and enabling account managers to effectively engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities include

  • Setting up and maintaining efficient internal comms channel and processes, allowing the team to share information efficiently and ensure account managers have all the information and resource necessary to successfully engage stakeholders (corporate, cities, states and regions).
  • Grow CDP’s disclosure work with State and Regional governments worldwide, by coordinating engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing a wide range of small projects on behalf of the global Disclosure team.
  • Creating and maintaining a training plan for account managers, ensuring they have all the information and resource necessary to successfully engage stakeholders. This will also include working and building relationships with other teams to make disclosure requirements and needs are met.
  • Supporting the Associate Director and Manager as required relating to the management of the disclosure programme and on specific projects by providing project and coordination support across team and regions.
  • Managing global team meetings, including scheduling, preparing slides, and capturing meeting notes and actions, supporting the wider Disclosure team.
  • Support documenting and proposing solutions to processes and ways of working to maximize efficiency across corporate and public entities programmes.
  • Working with the comms & marketing team to coordinate global mailouts, ensure quality delivery and inform account managers enabling them to plan regional engagement accordingly.
  • Ensuring deliverables are met for a number of projects funding this role, and liaising effectively with the Project Managers.
  • Supporting the broader team as needed with global coordination and engagement related tasks.

  • Experience of working in a global organisation (Desirable)
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field (Environment/Sustainability), or experience in a similar role, working in NGOs and/or commercial organisations (Desirable)

This is a full time role based at CDP’s London office, with flexibility working from home, and reporting to the Associate Director, Disclosure Programme Management.
