    The role

    The Performance & Impact team is responsible for the measurement and subsequent analysis, reporting and communication of information relating to the economic, societal and environmental impact of CPI.

    CPI is a thought leader in the area of impact measurement, the successful candidate will be part of a team that continue to develop new and innovative ways in utilising data to demonstrate CPIs impact. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building effective working relationships internally and externally, collating and analysing data to build a robust impact evidence base and to develop your career in an expanding organisation.

    The post holder will ensure the relevance and integrity of data collected, in addition to developing effective data collection and management strategies to accurately report the findings and turn the information into powerful messages and stories.

    In measuring Impact, you will draw together qualitative and quantitative methods of the impact CPI has had on the companies it works with. This includes gathering data by interacting with Stakeholders (internal and external), performing desk-based research, undertaking customer interviews and collaborating with employees in other areas of the business to promote and implement CPI’s Impact Framework.

    • Gather data, analyse, and contribute to the development of data sets and processes, including the use of data processing systems to improve data collection efficiency and presentation.
    • To extrapolate, record and maintain relevant qualitative and quantitative data relating to the performance of the companies CPI works with and develop relevant individual and cumulative trend analyses.
    • Continuous improvement of systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy is maintained.
    • Support the collection, cleaning and reporting of CPI’s KPI data.
    • To ensure data collected is relevant to translating into impactful information to a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders.
    • To undertake robust analysis and interpretation of data to produce and present information, dashboards, reports, and presentations that clearly demonstrate CPI’s impact.
    • To identify and gather up to date and accurate impact data by building and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and other data sources.
    • To record relevant qualitative and quantitative data relating to historical and current CPI projects and develop relevant trend analyses.

    About you

    It is desirable that you are degree level qualified (or equivalent) in disciplines such as Business, Economics, Digital or Data related subjects. In the absence of a formal qualification, significant experience will be considered, as would other qualifications such as a Level 4 Data Apprenticeship.

    Ideally the candidate will have previously worked in a dynamic, multi- functional business environment, although graduates who are seeking to develop a career in this field would be considered.

    In addition, candidates will ideally have experience of working with large data sets, building reports and dashboards.

    The successful candidate will have excellent Excel skills, preferably with experience using a data visualisation tool such as PowerBI or Tableau.
