ITS is the IT Production department within Global IT at Credit Agricole CIB.
The department provides core services to the UK branch of CA-CIB including dealing room support, user support & helpdesk, voice and telecoms, platforms, database engineering and network services. The Global Electronic Business Infrastructure team, which focuses on the dedicated low latency infrastructure also fall under UK ITS.
The Global ITS department comprises almost 1000 staff deployed globally with concentrations in Paris and Singapore.
Role summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Visualisation Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Data Visualisation Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to create visually stunning and insightful dashboards for various types of data. Additionally, you will play a key role in visualizing ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) data and supporting our data science initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- ELK Data Visualisation: Extract meaningful insights from ELK data sources and create compelling Visualisations in Kibana to facilitate monitoring, analysis, and decision-making processes.
- Data Science Support: Assist data scientists in creating visual representations of data models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to communicate findings effectively.
- Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Prepare and preprocess raw data for Visualisation and analysis, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document Visualisation processes, methodologies, and best practices. Generate reports to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data Visualisation, data science, and analytics domains.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
