This Summer Internship Programme offers practical work experience in a large, global investment bank. You will be able to gain valuable insight into the IT department by being placed in a specific team, where you will further develop your skills and knowledge with guidance from business leaders and surrounding team.
The eight - twelve-week programme will run during summer 2024. You will attend an induction and networking session during the first week. Throughout the programme, you will be assigned meaningful tasks by your team with clear objectives and responsibilities outlined weekly. This programme will be a hands on experience in order to help set you up for a successful career, once graduated.
You will join one of the Technology teams focusing on developing solutions for the foreign exchange trading business. Your role will focus on either business analysis, software development or quality assurance.
Candidate criteria
To be eligible for the programme, you must be an undergraduate who will be returning to University after you have completed the internship.
No previous experience is required, we are looking for students who are intrigued and motivated to learn more about the technology and financial world and are committed to learning more about a specific business area.
You must be studying towards Higher Education (Degree or equivalent) in either computer science, maths, physics, engineering or finance.

- Either coding capabilities (e.g. Python, C#, Java) to work as a developer
