Responsible primarily for assisting MNC Coverage officers in financial analysis, research on prospects, pitch preparation, detailed KYC work, ongoing business activity and internal client performance reviews
Partially responsible for assisting the Head of UK Coverage and Investment Banking (CIB)
Key Responsibilities
Assist the MNC Coverage team (part of Coverage and Investment Banking) in all aspects of client facing and internal work. This involves assisting with:
- End-to-End preparation of files for Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
- Client and sectorial research
- Financial/ credit analysis of existing and prospective clients
- Preparation of pitch books and client presentations
- Assisting with client and bank marketing materials
- Analysing revenues, returns, other profitability parameters etc. of specific clients/ portfolio
- Supporting internal credit process
- Organisation, attendance, and writing up meetings
- Follow clients’ strategy around energy transition
- Expansion of the MNC Coverage portfolio & identification of potential new UK prospects
- Liaison with other departments of the bank including the international network of CACIB, product specialists, risks, back office, middle office, compliance, legal.
- Any other business-related activity to be allocated across CIB, i.e. within and outside the ambit of MNC clients
- Work with and assist the Head of UK Coverage and Investment Banking on strategic topics (Medium term strategy, profitability analyses, risk weighted assets optimization, budgeting, etc.)
- Provide an ad hoc support for strategic analysis, reporting to management and specific projects.
About you
Minimum level of study
- Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Training / Specialization
- Graduate - Knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking · Knowledge of corporate lending, trade finance products, capital markets etc. · Accounting and corporate credit analysis
Soft skills
- Strong interpersonal skills. Self-starter and Team player
