About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Placement Student to join our team at Cowick Hall, East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2022. The successful candidate will work on research and development projects in our Skin Care Applications group.
The role will involve the development of new test methods to use for the screening of our products into a range of different areas of skin care as well as data generation and incorporating the products into formulations.
Duties will involve practical laboratory work and report writing. The project work carried out during the placement will be of sufficient academic complexity to meet the requirements of a university industrial placement degree course.

Essentials
- You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally.
- You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
- Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role.
- You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a 2.1 in a Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree.
