About the Role
As a Technology Strategist Intern, you’ll get the chance as part of a 12 Week Summer internship to work with and support the CTO Labs & Tech Strategy team at CrowdStrike. The Tech Strategy team’s mission is to identify & deliver new strategic direction & thought leadership to customers, analysts, media & partners while supporting the international growth of customers, new markets and TAM. This includes driving strategy through cross functional collaboration across the company including Product, Sales, Marketing, and more.
Your primary goal will be focussing on the execution of projects for the Tech Strategy team as well as other parts of the CTO Labs organisation, working directly with the team as well as other engineers, product, project and program managers across the company. You’ll work across functional teams to collaborate and ensure your project is accomplished in a timely manner.
As a Technology Strategist Intern you will
Working within the Tech Strategy team you will have the chance to support the work on numerous projects such as:
- Analysis & research of competitive technologies
- Analysis & research of new & evolving cyber policies
- Analysis & research of new & evolving cyber technologies
- Development of thought leadership materials
- The chance to work with other CTO Labs cross-functional teams in Data Privacy & Policy, Data Science, Detection Engineering and others.

What You’ll Need
- Ideally studying for a PhD, Masters, Post Graduate in Cyber Security, Cyber Policy, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Defence, Information Assurance, Risk Management, International Relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and data driven mindset
- Computer and/or network security experience/understanding
- CyberSecurity Enthusiast
Bonus Points
- Hands on experience (via coursework or previous experience) in detailed research and analysis
- Experience with writing code such as Python, to support analysis of collected data
- Experience with/exposure to cybersecurity domain, in particular the threat landscape of nation-state/criminal actors and their varying methodology of exploitation
- Experience with/exposure to Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, SIEM/Log Management, Mobile Security as well as other cyber security technologies
