    CRU International is looking for a Compliance Analyst. This role will join a small team dedicated to ensuring that the Company operates in full compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations across all the CRU offices.

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Providing compliance advise across the business in relation to various compliance matters
    • Developing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance across the business
    • Undertake internal audits and monitoring
    • Particular focus on sanctions to ensure the Company is in compliance with UK, US, UN and EU sanctions regime.
    • Communicate our compliance framework to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Serve as a bridge between various departments to ensure the effective communication of compliance requirements
    • Engaging cross-functionally (with groups such as HR, Analysis, Consulting, Events, Finance, and Sales) to establish a thoughtful strategic and tactical approach
    • Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

    About You

    • A degree or equivalent level qualification with previous experience in a similar role or regulated environment.
    • Ideally would have Compliance related certificates
    • Knowledge of the commodities market – mining, metals and fertilizers.
    • Experience of audits, monitoring, policy and process maintenance.
    • Effective critical thinking and analysis skills, oral and written communication including ability to track and meet schedules and deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Exposure working across multi-locations with different cultures
