The role
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Assisting in the execution of audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control environment.
- Performing interviews and walkthroughs to understand business processes, including risks, internal controls and any potential control gaps
- Performing audit testing to meet audit objectives in compliance with audit standards.
- Identifying internal control issues and improvement opportunities that are meaningful and practical.
- Communicating audit status, testing results, observations, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders
- Developing and managing of relationships within the wider team and actively engaging with relevant stakeholders
About you
- Studying a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
- Willing to travel 2/3 weeks of the month to multiple sites across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
