Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement student to join our team specializing in Customer Engineering for our Engine Business in Darlington, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Application-Engine Integration with Customers facing responsibilities
  • Powertrain performance and drivability documentation
  • Powertrain performance and drivability simulation and analysis
  • Powertrain and Drivetrain Testing
  • Development of tool/calculators to aid powertrain performance documentation and data analysis

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Working towards completion of engineering or mathematics or similar degree
  • Excellent IT skills in MS office
  • Ability to collate data, solve problems and think innovatively
  • Strong verbal and written communication
