    About the role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Applications Analyst to join our team specializing in system/information technology for our Components Business Segment in Huddersfield, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Contributing to the creation of the technical specifications from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the application, infrastructure, or complete solution.
    • Assisting with the delivery of solution designs, adhering to standards, and leveraging re-use of components.
    • Participating in formal design reviews and code reviews (where applicable) to ensure the detailed design specifications have been understood and coding standards have been adhered to by the development teams.
    • Assisting in the test strategy and execution of master test plan.
    • Analyzing and revising existing systems and documentation to identify remediation or improvements in the application or infrastructure solution.
    • Provides training and support for application portfolio within the team.
    • To be successful in this role you will need the following:
    • Studied towards a university, or equivalent degree in IT, or related subject is desired.
    • Demonstrate ability to be working with internal customers to define and clarify application requirements.
    • Demonstrate ability to be in providing training and Basic project management skills.
    • Microsoft Suite, BI tools such as PowerBI/Oracle and SQL experience desirable.
