    About the role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic New Product & Change Management student to join our team specializing in Quality for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. This is a full-time, role working Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week starting summer 2024. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Involved with all aspects of engineering change management and introduction of new, unique and upgraded parts and products within the plant
    • Prepare and present detailed department score cards for review on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management
    • Continuous collation of data attributed to the business using Oracle/Excel/Windchill
    • Involved with all other departments at the plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organization
    • Collaborating with external business functions to understand the entire new part introduction process from initial engineering design through to full production implementation, including support during infant care and build of the end product
    • Attend design review meetings, complete engineering design reviews for NPI department & create and manage production process documentation

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a bachelor’s degree from across all engineering / Supply chain or other related subjects
    • Good PC literacy – knowledge of 3D modelling software (Solid works/Creo/Fusion 360 etc.) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Practical approach to support technical innovation, be able to recommend improvements, ability to manage own projects
    • Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), time management and prioritisation skills, proactive attitude.
