    About the role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Application Engineering to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Power Systems Business Segment in Peterborough. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Provide technical support to Dealers & Distributors.
    • Support delivery of technical seminars in the factory and onsite.
    • Support the department on key tasks and projects working both independently and within teams.
    • Sourcing, interpreting and developing technical data and work towards agreed deadlines.
    • Working in a team environment and learning how to make decisions in a collaborative way.
    • Interacting with different functions and Cummins factories worldwide.

    What you'll need

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Currently studying a STEM Degree with a 12 month placement.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
    • Good Microsoft Office knowledge required (excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook). Exposure to CAD software (eg. AutoCAD, Inventor and Creo)
    • Flexible and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and take on responsibilities.
