We are looking for an enthusiastic placement student to join our team specializing in Systems and Data Execution for our (CBU - Components Business Unit) in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 1 July 2025.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Supporting/administering the CCIMS (Customer Care Information Management System) application.
- Helping to develop the next generation CCIMS application through execution of process improvement projects.
- Querying data by compiling SQL queries using databricks and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Gaining an appreciation of the service function by through experience of the CBU Service Failure Analysis Lab in Huddersfield.
- Supporting projects in the Data Analytics & Data Science.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- We are looking applicants studying towards a degree in the following areas or similar: Engineering, Data Science, Technology, Maths, Business or Project Management
- An interest in Data Science and Data Analytics.
- Good understanding of databases and their structures
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team with experience contributing to or leading projects
