    The role

    We are looking for two Placement Students to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • UK Logistics Centre specific ergonomics project focusing on the 15kg weight limit of picking parts.
    • Focusing on current picking processes across the site, and looking to improve where possible.
    • Following on from the above, the Student would then share best practice with other sites in the Cummins network.
    • Continuous Improvement / Operations Excellence projects within the facility.
    • Participate in requirements gathering sessions, data analysis and presenting findings to the leadership team.

    About you

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Working towards a degree in Business/Logistics/Health and Safety related area
    • Excellent IT Skills
    • Ability to understand data, solve problems and think innovatively
    • Communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of team
