    The Role You'll Play

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Transportation Consultant/Planner to join our team, to play a key role in the provision of innovative and effective transportation advice to support some of the most exciting projects in the UK and internationally.

    Working across a variety of sectors such as education, commercial, healthcare, retail and residential developments, you will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to support the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

    The successful candidate will be an integral part of a successful team of transport planners, delivering a broad range of services to public and private sector clients, including:

    • Development planning
    • Masterplanning
    • Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Delivery and Servicing Plans, Car Park Management Plans
    • Pedestrians, cyclists, public transport assessments
    • Traffic data analysis and presentation
    • Parking Assessments
    • Junction capacity assessment using appropriate modelling software
    • Preliminary design drawing, including vehicle tracking assessment.

    The Skills You'll Bring

    Educated to degree level in a relevant subject and hopefully having gained experience in a transportation and/or transport planning role within a relevant consultancy and/or local authority you have proven your technical capability with applicable technical software such as Arcady, Picady, Linsig, TRICS and Autocad, but also have excellent knowledge of Excel and Word. 

    You have experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines and have proven ability in producing effective transport planning solutions and preparing project reports.

    Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
