The Role
We are looking for a Structural Engineering student to join our team in Edinburgh for a 2024 Summer Placement. It is an excellent opportunity for you to get paid and gain some work experience to help towards your studies when you return back to university.
Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers, this wide-ranging role will see you carrying out structural engineering analysis and design for projects at different stage of completion – from design competitions and early design stages to detailed design development.
Using your maths, science, and problem-solving skills to design inspirational and sustainable structures and more.
About you
Individuals who are interested in the industrial placement opportunities that we have available will need to be:
- On track to achieve a 2:1 or above.
- Be interested in a career within Structural Engineering and working towards a relevant degree.
- Preferably be in your second or third year of study.
- Have a passion for improving the built environment.
- Be interested in structural engineering design and sustainable design principles.
