    Linx UK have an opportunity for a Graduate Field Service Engineer who is looking to join a rapidly growing company offering fantastic training and progression opportunities.

    Your challenge

    As a Graduate Field Service Engineer, you will initially work alongside experienced Field Service Engineers developing your knowledge and experience for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of our full range of coding and marking products throughout the UK with limited additional travel to Ireland.

    The candidate will work with the Field Service Engineers to respond to breakdowns on customer sites, quickly performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on units to guarantee that machines operate to the required standards.

    Additionally, you’ll provide customers with basic product and user functionality training, using your strong communication skills to deliver training that is accessible and understandable. This role may include, pre-arranged occasional nights away from home.

    Key Responsibilities

    Once trained responsibilities includes:

    • Provide on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of the full Linx product range.
    • Perform hands on site troubleshooting, service, and repairs.
    • Provide high level technical support to external customers.
    • Provide comprehensive on-site training to customers.
    • Interface with cross functional teams such as Sales, Engineering, and Marketing.
    • Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from field service visits.
    • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.

    About you

    • Experience and knowledge within an electronics/electro-mechanical, or a relevant technical discipline is required
    • A full UK driving licence
    • Proactive and hands-on
    • Confident working in customer-facing environments and have an analytical mind-set with excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
    • Practical and highly adaptable
    • Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols
    • Individual required to work alone and meet SLA KPI s
    • Able to work irregular hours and overtime to achieve deliverables
    • Willing to work in other locations within the UK if required
