We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Volume Contract Team on a full time permanent basis. DAS Law is an ambitious and innovative law firm occupying offices in the heart of Bristol. As an associate in our Contract disputes team based in Bristol you will be required to lead, supervise, develop and mentor a small team of 2-3 paralegals who are dealing with a varied caseload of small claims litigation matters including building disputes, misrepresentation issues, vehicle disputes, debt matters etc acting for both claimants and defendants and undertaking all parts of the litigation process.
The successful candidate will enjoy an interesting and varied role, including their own caseload of a range of contract disputes (which are mostly consumer but including some lower value commercial disputes and claimant professional negligence matters, building disputes and occasionally employment law disputes being brought in the County Court.) You’ll use your knowledge and excellent client care skills to provide confident and clear advice to a diverse range of clients and, reporting directly to the Principal Associate you’ll have the opportunity to assist where needed with complaints

You will be articulate, confident and fully able to embrace a changing environment
- Experience and sound knowledge of contract law and civil procedures is essential, including experience of running small claim value contract cases, and preferably some experience of fast track value cases. .
- Qualifications will be LLB/LPC/ILEX/GDL or equivalent
- The candidate will need to adhere to the SRA Handbook

We are looking for candidates with the following experience & attributes
- Experience and sound knowledge of contract law and civil procedures is essential, including experience of running fast track value cases
- Qualifications will be LLB/LPC/ILEX/GDL or equivalent
- Articulate and confident in client care and ability to embrace a changing environment in a new kind of law firm
- The candidate will need to adhere to the SRA Handbook
- The candidate must have excellent client care skills
- Ability to act on own initiative and knowing when to seek assistance
- Competent at adapting style to communication need
