On joining the Graduate Training Programme, all graduates will start a comprehensive corporate finance course which will provide a solid foundation of skills and knowledge designed to give you a head start in your career. Our flat structure will allow you to contribute from day one and for strong performers to progress rapidly. For over a decade, we have hired the most talented graduates into this training programme, the earliest of which now comprise much of our Director class. We expect a great deal out of our analysts, but the training, exposure, and responsibility will accelerate your career. There are two possible routes available: a) Rotational Programme and b) specialised Capital Advisory Programme.
As an analyst within our Rotational Programme, you will be exposed to multiple sectors and product areas while working in small focused teams. You’ll rotate around various sections of M&A Advisory, giving you a chance to find the industry in which you’re the most passionate. Teams include Industrial Products and Services, TMT, Business Services & Healthcare, Consumer, Leisure & Retail, and Capital Advisory.
The other route, Capital Advisory Programme, is the perfect option for those already passionate about the fascinating world of Debt & Restructuring. This dedicated team provides a full suite of balance sheet solutions in a fully integrated manner. We have experience assisting nearly every type of client and are leaders across our core European and US markets where we complete a large volume of transactions.
Who we look for
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a demanding and exciting environment. You should have strong interpersonal skills, excellent academics (very good A-levels or equivalent qualifications and a 2:1 or higher degree in any academic discipline) and a strong degree of commercial acumen and business awareness. Additional languages are useful and are looked upon favourably. Experience within a financial institutional will also merit your application – however it is absolutely not essential. We prefer to see people who think strategically and logically, those who understand transactions at a non-superficial level, and those who seek only to provide the best possible advice.
We recruit for the long term and aim to develop you into our successful senior bankers of the future so if you are determined to succeed at a career in Investment Banking and are looking for a leading firm offering something different, please get in touch.
