    About the role

    We are looking for a highly organised candidate to join the in-house events team at The Stylist Group on a fixed-term contract until the end of November 2025. The main focus of this role will be to work on Stylist Live; our flagship festival of inspiration.

    This position will suit an individual who is seeking a career within the events industry. We are looking for a candidate with strong organisational skills, experience in a customer-facing role and willingness to get involved with many different aspects of events.

    Key responsibilities

    • Support the sourcing, negotiation and management of external suppliers (e.g., venues, AV suppliers, printers, florists, security, etc.)
    • Responsible for the administrative side of all large events (jobs include managing event bookings and/or RSVP processes and all associated communications with guests, guest list management, onsite guest check-in experience, courier booking and invoice management)
    • Update existing spreadsheets with new venues and suppliers with up-to-date contacts and details
    • Provide operational support for the Stylist Events Team onsite at all events
    • Manage and update event inventory and liaise with office manager to ensure event stock is stored correctly
    • Source, itemise and organise everything needed for each event, ensuring timely delivery
    • Source and pack goody bag items and manage the inventory for these for every event
    • Implement excellent organisational systems and processes that support the events team, proactively suggesting improvements or new processes, tools and/or software where relevant
    • Organise and arrange travel tickets, couriers, taxis and other logistics within the allocated budget
    • Demonstrate good knowledge of events in London and updating the team on these
    • Maintain a fine understanding of the tastes and interests of our readers when choosing event partners
    • Represent the company in a professional and appropriate manner when liaising with suppliers, contractors and other third-party companies

    Desired experience

    • Previous events experience would be advantageous
    • Previous administration and office support experience
    • Experience working in customer-facing environments or roles
