Purpose
Within the Product Marketing department, you will support the Product Marketing team on delivering the annual launch plan for the Jewellery Collections. You will be supporting the product development process by maintaining and ensuring all relevant documents are kept up to date.
Responsibilities
Market research & analysis
- Conduct competitive market research on a regular basis to assist in the Product Marketing decision making process, highlighting gaps and opportunities.
- Support in updating the monthly competition bible.
- Support the team in gathering internal and external information to inform pricing strategy.
- Complete ad hoc business analysis when needed to support the team in identifying the future action plan.
- Ad Hoc performances analysis
Product launch
- Support the Product Marketing team in the creation of the product and campaign briefs.
- Assist in updating the Product launch plan.
- Support in the creation of the Product launch tools (Product Flash, newsletters etc) respecting deadlines.
Operations
- Monitoring the website, ensuring all novelties are included and information is accurate.
- Coordination of prototypes requests for shooting
- Assist the Product Managers with product requests (product information, pricing, availability, etc.) from all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- University degree in a relevant subject is desirable.
- Previous experience in a product orientated environment.
- Experience and interest for the jewellery business is highly desirable.
- Possess an eye for detail, inherent interest in luxury and a product sensibility.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional team.
- Experience with an information system, such as SAP or Oracle is desirable.
- Ability to work flexibly among changing priorities and deliver while respecting deadlines.
- Ability to be organised and prioritise.
- Ability to flag some conflict / blocking point to the direct report and seek for help when necessary.
