The role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Life Sciences or Health Economics graduate, looking to kick start a career in pharmaceutical consulting. It’s a full-time, permanent position providing you with the opportunity to grow and develop your consultancy skills.
As a Fellow Associate Consultant in #teamdecisive, you’ll be directly involved in consulting projects, company growth strategy and the development of our core capabilities. You will be part of the core team that sources people from across our Intelligent Network and assists them to deliver across a range of client projects. You will work directly with clients and Senior Consultants, right the way through ideation and methodologies to implementation.

Job responsibilities
In this role you will learn and develop your skillset and experience in Consulting:
- Support the Project team with devising specific Market Access and Commercial Strategy projects
- You will develop your deliverables to a high quality and work in a cross-functional team which may include commercial strategy, market access, and medical experts and associates to support the delivery and execution of the overall project
- Ensure you support effective project management from conception through to completion (end-to-end project management), working across multiple projects simultaneously and smoothly
- Identify innovative approaches to help clients navigate their market access and commercial strategy challenges and bringing an experienced rebel perspective to thinking and approach
- Improve existing and identifying new client service offerings
- Use a wide range of research methodologies to develop insight into key areas and understand markets and analogues
- Engagements will involve working with clients to resolve their most pressing challenges in portfolio/disease commercial positioning; product launches and cross functional alignment; market access, pricing, and reimbursement
- Support the Project Lead in the design of and conducting secondary research reports, advisory boards, training programs and primary research interviews with a variety of respondent types (e.g., Payers, Key Opinion Leaders, Budget Holders, Patients, Physicians, Clients, etc.)
- Contribute to new business development, pitches, project deliverables, and thought leadership as required to position capabilities with prospects to continuously grow the consulting business
- Working with the Project Lead; cost projects, develop proposals, and write statements of work
- Build expertise across the suite of Decisive offerings and contribute to roadmaps for product enhancement
- Support Project Lead(s) on specific internal projects to develop and strengthen our infrastructure; identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the way that we work
Skills, education and experience required
- Life science or health economic background (Master’s preferred, however other relevant degree and experience will be considered)
- Strong, open communication skills
- The ability to effectively manage multiple different workstreams simultaneously
- A mix of commercial and pharmaceutical interests, keeping up to date in current industry and disease areas
- Ability to support the execution of multiple complex projects at once within a diverse remote team environment, to tight deadlines.
- Strong commercial and business acumen – ability to think not only of the technical/clinical side aspect of the role, but also the commercial side of market access
- Ability to work in a complex, ambiguous, fast-moving and uncertain environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for influencing, advising and consulting.
- Excellent IT skills; confident with PowerPoint; building engaging and focused slide decks
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) to a high business standard.
