The role
The role is responsible for planning and analysis relating primarily to the Ugg Wholesale and Distributor markets,as well as the TEVA brand. The junior commercial finance analyst will support with the provision and development of sales reporting for UGG channels across EMEA.
Working closely with the Ugg FP&A Manager, the role will support in setting robust plans and forecasts by season and financial year. Ongoing analysis of results should highlight areas of risk and opportunity, which will be communicated back to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
You are a driven and self-motivated individual, who is able to interact with all areas of the business, whilst building accurate budgets, forecasts and produce timely, relevant analysis to facilitate the decision-making process.
You are a curious person who can interpret and manipulate data sets into insightful analysis.
Your impact
- Support the FP&A Manager to execute the Brand Plan
- Preparation of the Annual Brand Plan, covering the Wholesale and Distributor channels and subsequent forecast updates
- Timely reporting on business performance, through Brand reporting packs
- Provision of management information to enable Brand Management to make informed decisions and drive their business forward
- Work closely with the FP&A Manager to develop consistent Brand and Channel reporting
Who you are
- Always acts with a high degree of integrity with the ability to handle confidential and sometimes highly sensitive matters in the appropriate manner
- Able to build strong relationships across the business and within FP&A; patient, thoughtful, and helpful business partner
- Flexible, comfortable with change and ambiguity, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with multiple competing priorities
- Quick learner enjoys learning and acquiring new skills, high level of curiosity both about FP&A and in general
We would love to hear from people with:
- Studying towards professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Experience within FP&A function of business partnering with Commercial Leaders OR experience within Practice and looking to move into commercial finance role in-house
- Able to interpret and manipulate pure financial information into insightful analysis
- Advanced skills in Excel and good Presentation skills
